French is the official language in a number of countries in the world for example Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, France, Guinea,  Madagascar, Mali, Monaco, Niger etc.

French culture was influenced by a German tribe, the franks, and Celtic and Gallo roman cultures.

French culture is quite broad. It involves language, religion, regional cultures and traditions, state roles, families and romantic relationships, lifestyle, media and art, values. France has played important roles in this areas. The French culture is important as it has increased and decreased, in size, number, strength and intensity yearly depending on the political or economic importance.
