There are four Responses. Write a 100-word response for each one.
D1 Response 1: Jerome
“When God expressed his thoughts, the universe came into being (Gen.1:1, John 1:1), His presence sustains the world (Col. 1:16-17), the universe speaks of God’s creativity and presence; it speaks the language of God” (Myers & Noebel, 2015). Everything God did he spoke the word. In Chapter One of Genesis, the scriptures start by saying “God said,” and the scripture end by saying “God saw”. In the beginning you see God established order by separating day from night. He also established sea from land. “By Him, all things are held together” (Colossian 1:17). God is the creator and is responsible for a meaningful cosmos. In the reading assignment, it talks about how God created thing. “What God said to happen” (Myers& Noebel, 2015). Look at the creation God detailed everything out. They appeared as he spoke it.

D1 Response 2: Carter
If the fall had never occurred, I would agree that the cosmos is orderly. After all, Genesis 1:31 says, “And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good” (English Standard Version, 2001). However, as Myers and Noebel point out, “human beings are fallen.” Genesis 3:17 notes that the ground is cursed, “cursed is the ground because of you”, and human death entered the world in Genesis 3:19, “By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground”(English Standard Version, 2001). By cursing the ground, denying a man the fruit of the tree of life (English Standard Version, 2001, Genesis 3:22-23), and cursing Eve (English Standard Version, 2001, Genesis 3:16), God brought disorder to his creation. To be clear, God is just, and the curses were appropriate consequences for Adam and Eve’s actions.
