One of the contemporary positive impacts of technology in the society has been the effective elimination of the human element in potentially risky environments, in effect reducing, and in some cases eliminating, the threat to human life despite improving the quality of outcomes from certain activities. In particular, the computer helped the human race develop the ability to program different mechanical products, to the extent that the products are capable of executing commands with minimal human interference. According to Joshua Brungardt and Richard Kurt Barnhart (2016), the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) is one such product of technology in which case specially trained individuals are able to operate the specialized aircraft without any form of direct contact with the aircraft. Primarily used by military personnel for military and security-related activities, UAS provide the country with the opportunity to engage in potentially dangerous missions without posing any direct danger on the personnel involved in the activities.
