PharmaCorp is a global company operating in well over 75 countries worldwide. As among the top ten players in the industry, the company has faced a number of potential fails due to errors in its knowledge management systems. The company lost a number of its best deals in the market on the grounds that it was unable to provide ideally integrated solutions in its order handling line. With such profound losses that threatened the company’s market position and future deals, the management hastened to set up a knowledge management project with the name Alpha with the objective of creating a blueprint that could be applied to gain and maintain a global leadership position in the industry (Braganza, & Möllenkramer, 2002). This was especially in its order handling services within the market. Within the newly formed Alpha Project team, there were different factions with different mandates.
