Management Course Feedback

Much of what I learned from the course related to the importance of corporate-level strategy in determining the success of a company within any market. Prior to the course, my idea of strategic management was that it includes the efforts within a company, in which the manager consults different employee representatives to develop an ideal strategy for the company. This was the most I believed a strategic management approach to be, which does not include the ultimate objectives of a team in experiencing as much success as would be possible in an industry.
