Types of misconducts and how they affect a defendant’s right to a fair trial
It is evident that there is some misconduct that occurs in the courts and may have weighty effects on the decisions and rulings made in these courts. This misconduct is associated with the people who understand the law such as the prosecutors. Prosecutors are the legal officers in the court of law that bring charges against the defendant and prove that the defendant is guilty through the provision of the necessary evidence. For instance, the prosecutor may fail to provide the evidence that he or she feels will prove the defendant is innocent (Wilkinson & Ruby, 2016).
