Solution Preview

In Montgomery v. Louisiana, the facts of the case revolved around Henry Montgomery who had not only been found guilty but had also been convicted for the murder of a sheriff’s deputy, Charles Hunt. At the time of the murder, Henry had just turned seventeen years old. The first conviction he had received was a death penalty. An appeal was later filed with the Louisiana Supreme Court.
The sentence was later overturned, and Henry was convicted and sentenced to life in prison without any possibility of parole. The recent decision of the case which was decided back in 2016 revolves around the case of Miller v.
