Critique of Moral Intelligence
Moral Intelligence: Enhancing Business Performance & Leadership Success is a book that was authored by Doug Lennick and Fred Kiel in 2008. Since its publication, there are several newer editions that have been produced that have tried to polish the information that was contained in the original work. As the title of the book suggests, the authors delve into the various ways and roles that moral intelligence plays towards enhancing business performance and leadership success. Many institutions go through turbulent times when pursuing various operations and activities. During such instances, a firm that is not guided by moral intelligence may easily fail. I found the book to be an important piece not only for people in management but also for other business professionals since it can develop a culture or moral and ethical conduct across the institution.
