For your final essay in this class, I would like for you to contemplate how culture affects the leadership of organization that you belong to (business, school, church, etc.). (So here we are talking about culture within an organization.)

I want you to consider this in terms of Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions. Does the culture within the organization you choose to speak about match the culture of the larger society? Why is this? Does this cause issues for the organization? Now think about the leadership of the organization. Can you think of issues within the organization that make the type of leadership you are witnessing “the best” type of leadership for that sort of culture? Why or why not.
