As a minority student, there are several life experiences that played a critical role in influencing my decision to pursue a career in pharmacy. Minority students are often perceived not to dream in pursuing careers that are as prestigious as in pharmacy. This is evident since I never dreamed or had aspirations to pursue a career in this line of work.
