Cyber Security Threats
As opposed to physical war in the twentieth century, which took the form of guerilla tactics or open attacks by a government or terrorist group, and in which the attackers would be known, modern forms of warfare do not necessarily include physical attacks, as explained by the increasing cyber security threats. An individual with the necessary expertise could hack into a government system, install a malware, and possibly access vital information if the said government did not have measures in place to deter such activities on its network. According to Dan Holden (2015), cyber-attacks are not limited to governments, but have in some cases targeted important organizations, which in effect reduce their performance in the market due to the dwindled customer support in the safety of their data through interaction with these companies.
