Define public/community health nursing.
Public Health Nursing
Healthcare services provision does not only include the provision of care to patients at the hospital. On the contrary, it includes the different services that individuals avail to people witin society with the intention of preventing adversities associated with health welfare issues. In particular, public health nursing includes different activities within the confines of such health care delivery that deal with the provision of an ideal environment to guarantee that people, outside of the healthcare facility, receive the most ideal conditions capable of prevention and control of healthcare issues. Since it is always difficult that a privately funded entity would invest in measures such as creation of awareness of a particular health challenge, then the government, through public health nursing, provides such services to ensure that the welfare of local communities is well addressed.
