Problem Definition

The healthcare problem that I identified is tobacco use among young people across America. Smoking of tobacco is one of the biggest issues that face the healthcare system of the United States. More than $170 billion is incurred each year in the form of healthcare costs due to smoking and some of the diseases and conditions that are brought by tobacco use (CDC. 2019).
