Introduction
Folk tales are traditional stories that are passed from one generation to another, and they often have portrayals of time and place in which they are told. Folk tales are of different kinds, and they include; fairy tales, trickster tales, legends, myths, and tall tales whose main themes are universal and timeless as they help people to make a sense of the world they exist.
