Determine your retirement needs and, using the information from the Lesson and materials, assess what you can do that will help you reach financial security in retirement. Include in your assessment, at what age you would like to retire and what you need to do to reach that goal. Also, determine at what age you would retire if you did not do anything to help yourself now, for the future.
My current age is 38. The perfect retirement for me is debt-free, own a house, and a steady monthly income of $6000.
I already own a house and the mortgage is paid off. When I retire from the military in 2029 (46), I will receive $1,700 a month and medical benefits.
I want to stop working at 56. Therefore, I wish to sell NLPU for $10 million.
If I don’t do anything now to help my future. I will have a house, receive medical benefits, and $1,700 a month from the Army.
