I love working in large, globally recognized firms! On one end I have the desire to work for Walmart while on the other end I have the fascination of becoming a Google employee. Interestingly, even though both firms are large on a global scale, they portray what seems like contrasting organizational structure based on my analysis presented below. While Walmart is bureaucratic in its entire organization, Google is less formal on the other end. I begin my analysis with Walmart. With a significant chain of stores in its operation, Walmart is more inclined towards a divisional structure due to its large number of stores located in different countries.
