Purpose of Each Layer in the OSI Reference Model
In the International Standards Organization (ISO) Reference Model regulation is conveyed from a layer to the other, and continuing to the bottommoststratum, over the conduit to the next position and back up the pyramid. This model assumes the role of combined networks and breaks it down to a vertical stack that is made up of seven layers.
