An elevated number of organization in the technologically concentrated sector such as electronics and pharmaceuticals have left the conventional strategy to managing development and research and are founding international research and development networks in a significant new way (Kuemmerle, 2000). Sometimes back, majority of the companies even those ones which are internationally established in terms of manufacturing and sales undertook the majority of research and development operations in the local countries. Traditional wisdom depicted that research and development and strategy development had to be maintained in a near geographical location.
