INTRODUCTION
High Blood Pressure in children and adolescents is a gradually growing problem which can persist into adulthood and has been known to accompany other health condition. Hypertension is better diagnosed as age progresses and its initiation may start in childhood, continue to adolescence then move forward to adulthood. Studies have shown that children and adolescents between the age of 3 and 18 have a risk of 3.4 percent of having pre-hypertension and a 3.6 percent risk of having hypertension.
