Question
Multicausality helps us to appreciate that each person is unique. Even professionals who specialize in working with certain problems find that their clients come from different circumstances and manage their conditions in different ways. What works for one person may not work for someone else.
Identify a population that you are interested in helping. What may be some of the many causes of the problem the persons faces? What may be some of the many ways the person reacts to their circumstances.?
For example, there are many causes of unemployment.
One person may have been laid off because of the economy, another may have had a poor job performance and another may not have been qualified for the job. One person may get a new job quickly with a pay increase, another may collect unemployment while job hunting and another may feel defeated and become depressed.
