Emerging Technology

Each student will prepare a term paper on assessment of a specific emerging technology. An emerging technology is one that is proven, but is not yet widely used. The paper should describe the technology, its business uses, and your analysis of its potential to emerge. Develop a business case in the form of a report detailing your analysis.

A list of topics used in the past appears below (note – you are not limited to this list and some of the technologies listed are no longer appropriate). Write a short summary of 1-2 short paragraphs describing your choice).

Self Driving Cars

– An overview paper describing it as an emerging technology is attached as an example.

Currently, there is a rapid emergence of technology. This implies that there will be efficiency in carrying out our daily duties and driving is no exception. Self-driving cars have emerged although not highly utilized in the market. In these cars, human power to control the car for safety is not required. Sensors are combined with software to take control of the car and navigate it.
