Objectives of Employee Selection

Finding the best suited candidate for a position in your organization is the main goal of employee selection. However such employees must bring and add value to the organization itself. Otherwise, there is no need to hire them just to fill an empty space in the team. Such a process requires objectivity and resources of time, expertise and money.  As such, it should aim at getting the best possible candidate into the team. An employee not only plays part but also bears the right mindset or attitude towards the job.
