A Doll’s house is a play by Henrik Ibsen that talks about the fate of a married woman; Nora, and her lack of self-fulfillment as a result of living in a male-dominated society. At the start of the play, the relationship between Nora and her husband Torvald seems okay because he dotes on her and she seems happy. As a result, Nora wants to please him in whatever way she can even to the extent of thinking to killing herself to save her husband’s reputation.
