Communicable and Non-Communicable Disease Burden
Introduction
The disease burden continues to be very high across the world. The most common definition of a disease is any condition that is abnormal that disrupts the normal functioning of the body system. Diseases weaken the body system of an individual, and they have to take medication. The condition may affect parts of the organism or even the entire body system. Diseases are classifiable into two categories: communicable and non-communicable. The former represents illnesses that are transmissible from one individual to another.
