Literacy Narrative
The encoding of language through the spoken and written forms was the most amazing thing to ever happen to me as it acted as a background for my writing passion. As a young child growing up in the city, there were many available materials that could introduce me to literacy but bedtime stories worked out fine. My mother was an author working for a media company in New York and her experience with English was therefore exceptional. She was the head of script and content creation department and worked with other creative writers to keep the company magazines relevant. She brought home papers and I was never interested in touching them at first.
