The financial crisis is a situation whereby financial assets find themselves losing vast numbers of the nominal values. Some of the financial institutions that are most affected are the banks. In this paper, we will be considering the issues that led to the financial crisis that existed in the United States in the year 2007, 2008 and 2009.
