There are many lessons that I have learned in this class that have changed my perceptions and notions towards various things in regards to family studies. These lessons can not only be applicable in my career but can also be great lessons for me when I start a family. As a result of what I have learned in this class, I have a different outlook towards life, parenting, and family. I believe that I am a better person than I was before since I have gained a lot of knowledge that could help me understand why certain families in the modern world are the way they are. I think families are sensitive institutions that need to be protected due to their importance in the society.
