Processed foods that are quickly prepared in large amounts and served much faster than traditional foods are known as fast foods. Fast foods are less nutritious when compared to other traditional dishes and meals. The Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has concluded that 35.7% which is more than one-third of the adults in the U.S and 17% children and teenagers between the age of 2-19 years are living with obesity.
