In the Circle, the film focusses on the difficult challenges faced by the women in Iran. It does not use one main protagonist to tell the story but instead uses different women undergoing different difficulties in life. That has been used to bring about the fact that women are measured using different standards. The discrimination is through practices such as not being able to travel on their own unless they are accompanied.
