Briefly describe the subjects, themes, and styles of the director’s work.

For this first part of the assignment, write a 1-page paper outlining the reasons you selected this director. Share in at least one paragraph why you selected this director and the reasons you have for your interest in his or her work.

In at least one paragraph, write a brief biography about the director. In the biography provide background information about the director’s work in cinema—information that may have shaped the director outside of cinema can be incorporated as long as it is relevant to his or her film career. List three of the director’s films that you intend to discuss in your project. Include a description of how these films are relevant and how they express the meaning of the director’s work.

Briefly describe the subjects, themes, and styles of the director’s work. Your description needs to be at least one paragraph and should include how these features impact the director’s films. Provide examples from the director’s work and career. Below is a description of each of these features:

Subjects: Genres (categories) such as sci-fi, comedy, drama, film noir, suspense, action and adventure, or horror
Themes: Messages such as social awareness, love, conflict, dystopian future, redemption, innocence, vengeance, justice, sacrifice, transformation, resurrection, good versus evil, coming of age, underdog, man versus nature, man versus society, etc.
Style: Camera style/angles and lighting (cinematography), Editing, Mise-en-scène (staging), Sound, Acting
This is the first part of the project, (1 page). The final part ( 7 -10 pages), I will post after the tutor has marked this one. which will be the final project developed from the first part will be posted to you after the tutor has graded the first part. It should be on proper APA style.
