Final Project: Live Learn Grow Reflections
UDG 106 – Live Learn Grow II
Project Overview
During your two semesters of Live Learn Grow, you have reflected on the ways that you are developing
as a university student, as an intercultural learner, and as a person in general. Now, it is time to take
what you have learned and put it all together.
For this project, you will create a Google Doc that contains the following items/information:
• A title page with your name, course title, project name, and date.
• Final drafts of your written reflections throughout LLG II, including the following topics:
o Acculturation
o Emotional Intelligence
o Stress Management
o Online Learning Success
Each reflection must also include one reputable source to support your ideas, which must be cited using
MLA format. An MLA Works Cited page must be included at the end of the Google Doc. A total of four
sources must be used (one per reflection). Finally, treat each reflection as a final draft: fix any
spelling/grammar errors, make sure formatting is correct, and make each reflection your best work.
Additionally, a final course reflection must address the following questions in at least 150 words:
• How have you changed as a person during your first full year of university study? Give specific
examples of events/experiences that have impacted you personally.
• Which lessons from Live Learn Grow (I or II) have been most helpful/meaningful/impactful for
you? Why? In what ways will they help you in the future?
• What advice would you give to a new student at UD who is from your home country? Explain 2-3
things that would be helpful from them to know before they start their studies and why.
Creating/Submitting Your Google Doc
Go to drive.google.com and sign in with your UD email to access your Google Drive. From there, create a
new Google Doc and begin copying/pasting your reflection assignments from Isidore. Each reflection will
be added as a separate page in the Google Doc.
To submit this project, you will paste a link to your Google Doc into the Isidore Forum “LLG II Final
Project” once it is finished. This will allow you to share your work with our class and give feedback on
classmates’ work in the form of Forum comments. Information on how to do this will be given in class.
Scoring/Due Dates
This project will be scored according to the following checklist. It is due by 3:00 PM on Monday, 4/20.
• Title page: 2 points
• First 4 reflection final drafts: 20 points (5 per reflection)
o Fully addresses prompt: 2 points
o Source included: 1 point
o MLA citation: 1 point
o Spelling/grammar: 1 point
• Final course reflection: 15 points
o 5 points per question (based on completeness,
thoughtfulness, and clarity of communication)
• MLA formatting/Works Cited: 3 points
• Total: 40 points
