Review some of the legislative initiatives they have lobbied for. Select at least two of those initiatives, and discuss whether they are in place in the state of Kentucky and the impact each has, or would have, if in place, on your activities.

Solution Preview

The first legislative initiatives which have been discussed on the website will be the Collective Bargaining Bill. The bill was reintroduced in the Congress and focuses on firefighters as well as public safety officers being given their collective bargaining rights while they are employed or in their workplace. The bill, Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act, was introduced of the commitment of the IAFF toward rights which ought to be enjoyed by the firefighters.
