2)We covered a lot about media planning and media scheduling this week. These are important tasks in developing a strategy and call for different skills than developing a creative campaign. How is a media buyer different from a media planner? What are the important skills for a media buyer? Do you think you would be interested in a career as a media planner or buyer?
3)We all like to think of direct marketing and telemarketing as annoying, but what about direct sales? When was the last time you purchased a product as the result of direct marketing (catalog, emailed coupon, etc) or direct sales (sales associate in a store, for example)? Would you have bought the product anyway or was it a result of the sales contact or promotion?
