China has managed to be at the center of the world power for years which is due to its growing economy. The country’s economy is said to have emerged during the pre-imperial era up to date. Even with the change of the ruling dynasties, the centralized monarchy and the collapse which was experienced while the country was under the leadership of Qing dynasty, the country’s economy remains strong. The economy, as well as the military power of the nation, is said to rival the economic and military power of the world most powerful country, that is, the United States of America (Maxfield, 2008).
