Directions: Answer the questions about the author you have chosen.  Make sure you write your answers in complete sentences.  You must complete the Reading for a Meaning handout (DESCRIPTION side) as well.

1. Who is the author and where does he/she live?
   Lewis Carroll is the children’s book author whom I have chosen, and he lived in Northern England from 1832 to 1898   
2. Write a paragraph describing the author’s background information.

 Lewis Carol came from a family bearing the name Dodgson and were all from northern England with Irish connections.
