Solution Preview
The article explores the lives of two girls, Fatima and Christina, though their high school and transformation to adulthood as they continually needle each other on issues to do with weight and appearance. The two African American Girls are the only black girls in the California-based school and often engage in some stressful conflict with each other. The reader catches up with Fatima, 33 years old amid her yoga poses after being distracted by the new black student in her class.
