Health care education improves health behaviors as well as self-management. It is frustrating and challenging to educate aged individuals staying in assisted living facilities about their health. A focus on empowerment can be the best strategy for interventions and teaching them. This is because a high number of older individuals in these facilities fall prey to contiguous diseases such as STDs, chlamydia and even H.I.V infections (Gobbens et al. 2015).
