Hospital incident command system (HICS) is a type of system that is standardized to facilitate effective services in health care through the organization of staff and resources. The process is designed in such a way that every aspect of an organization works together towards achieving the major goals of attaining top-notch services. There are however challenges that come with failure to establish a fully functional HICS as it might lead to irreversible consequence for an organization. One of the greatest problems is the inability to manage emergencies due to disagreements from the teams involved (Shooshtari, Tofighi, & Abbasi, 2017).
