Question 1
Cases in which one engages in a conversation that he or she would rather not have are common. In one incidence, I was supposed to direct a group of young people to use a different route since the road was closed for renovation purposes. No one ever likes to make alternative arrangements particularly in cases where the individuals are in a hurry. Consequently, my audience was not enthusiastic at my presence and some even hurled insults and cursed as I had ruined their experience on the trip. However, as much as I disliked the interaction with the unruly teenagers, it was necessary that I direct them as such to avoid possible danger. The objective of interacting with the group served as the primary motivation to keep going.
