Sesame Square in Nigeria
Response One – Ariel
The peer’s post had several highlights that resonated in me after watching the video. One of the things that I liked is the manner in which the peer points out several examples from the film about inclusivity of cultures. The two examples given is where the food served is Nigerian and the people dress in Nigerian attire. These examples help exemplify the importance of inclusivity in various cultures. Positive blending of cultures can been seen to bring about many benefits for the people as described in the post. One of the benefits is education from the Western culture. Education helps empower the children and people in Nigeria. The author also discusses religious and gender inclusion in the society.
