            Isolationism is a term that America birthed because it was hesitant in becoming a part of the European coalitions and warfare. Isolationism didn’t necessarily mean that America was completely detached from the world. Due to this state, certain policies were developed which led to shifting from being isolated to being a superpower (Aregood, Richard & Eric, 2015).
