Woodrow was the 28th president of the United States. He served in office from 1913 to 1921. World war one started in 2014. It was just one year after Woodrow was in office that the world war began. By then America was a significant business partner with Britain which was actively involved in the battle against Germany. President Woodrow did not advocate the United States joining the war (Link, 1954). The president used ignorance as a way to keep off the fight.
