Introduction
The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is one of the major scares in the modern-day society. The cure for the virus is yet to be developed. For this reason, the persons who contract the virus have to live with it the rest of their lives. It is acquired through exchange of body fluids, such as blood, semen, and vaginal fluids. Accordingly, unprotected sex is one of the major avenues through which the virus passes from one individual to another. If left unchecked, the virus facilitates the development of the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), which makes individuals susceptible to opportunistic illnesses.
