A freestanding restaurant is a single restaurant that provides foods and drinks to the customers, and it is not an affiliated part of a hotel or any other large organization while a hotel restaurant refers to a restaurant which offers both accommodation and the basic needs like foods and drinks to the customers. A hotel restaurant is a large establishment and offers both lodging and complimentary meals to customers.  Therefore they both posses’ differences in terms of structure and types of services provided.
