Human Growth and Development
Erik Erikson’s psychosocial theory describes the lifelong process of human growth and development. It consists of eight stages, each presenting unique challenges. One of these stages is called Trust versus Mistrust, which spans from birth to around 18 months. During this stage, infants develop a sense of trust or mistrust towards their caregivers and the world based on their experiences.
