1 Ellen White’s understanding of her job description as the Lord’s messenger was she had to bring the minds of the followers to listen and adhere to his words, to simplify the truths that were already given, to enforce Biblical principles to create correct ways of living. She also felt she had to specify what man’s duty was to God and also correct those who stumbled from the Bible truth (White, 1945).
