In the past, researchers in various psychological disciplines used some methods and research techniques that were considered to be ethically questionable. During the 20th century, there was great popularity in psychological research as researchers in various studies tried to come up with various explanations for human behavior. In some of the studies, the researchers went too far in the various experimentations that were being conducted. Doing this meant that they would deceive the people through various experiments and studies.
