Finding Nemo
Fear forms a critical part of the storyline in the 2003 film, Finding Nemo. In particular, Merlin’s actions are primarily driven by his fear of the ocean, ultimately culminating in his long journey to the dentist’s office to find Nemo (Ebrahim 45). With much of the storyline being related to the events that end up with the situation as experienced by the two characters, Nemo and Merlin, then it remains clear that phobia is a significant factor in advancing the storyline in this case. Merlin is significantly worried about Nemo being in the ocean alone, or wherever the scuba diver took him, and his encounter with Bruno as he and Dory travel towards where they thought they could find Nemo.
