There are several very important security issues that face companies in the world today. Some of these issues include cyber espionage, web attacks, and point-of –sale hacks. These security concerns tend to reduce the sustainability and profitability of these businesses due to the increased risk that affects the various information resources of the company. The most common types of web attacks are in the form of web app attacks that bring about data breaches that can affect the customers of any company. Criminals mainly use phishing techniques to obtain customer information illegally and defraud them (Jones, 2016). Cyber espionage attacks have also increased where companies are being threatened by unscrupulous individuals on the internet.
