How a Toaster Works
A toaster is one of the popular home appliances that is used frequently especially during preparation of breakfast. The knowledge on how this appliance works is important because it ensures right application of the set procedures on the usage of the item. The basic idea behind the functionality of a toaster is that it uses infrared radiation to produce heat directed on the heating coils or plate. When switched on, the coils glow red and produce the heat used in heating a piece of bread.
